This book is a collection of raw, honest, and deeply human reflections — fragments of life after unimaginable loss. Glimpses of Me holds stories about grief, motherhood, the ache of longing, the unexpected strength that rises in the quiet moments, and the healing that unfolds slowly, breath by breath. It is not a linear story. It’s a journey in snapshots — the days I collapsed, the days I rose, and all the days in between. These pages carry memories of my daughter Brianna, my husband Chris, my daughter Kayla, and the life that grew from the shards of heartbreak. It is a book for anyone who has ever whispered, “How do I keep going?”
A book for those who need to know they’re not alone.
I wrote Glimpses of Me because healing shouldn’t be silent.
Because grief shouldn’t isolate us. Because stories — especially the painful ones — deserve to be shared and witnessed. For years, my heart spoke in glimpses: journal entries, letters to Brianna, messages written in the middle of the night, prayers whispered into the dark. This book gathers them all in one place, turning pain into purpose and heartbreak into hope.
If even one person feels seen in their grief because of these pages, then every word was worth writing.
I am currently in the writing and production phase, preparing Glimpses of Me for publication.
